Katy Richardson

Katy is a native New Mexican who attended both New Mexico State University and the University of New Mexico. She received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts from UNM, with a concentration in Theater and English. She has always loved animals, and her family jokes that she was raised by Labrador Retrievers. She believes volunteering and community outreach is the key to building a better Albuquerque, and she is also active in P.E.O., a national organization dedicated to furthering women’s educational opportunities. Katy is the Vice President and Contracts Administrator for her family’s commercial general contracting business, Richardson & Richardson, Inc. She is proud to be the third generation involved in the company. She enjoys reading, writing, crafts and a good iced coffee/pastry combo. You might see her around town having adventures with her Cocker Spaniel, Trixie Lynette.
